I get the following error message on my sparc stations console when I launch
openwin in the morning (ixcite is my workstation):
Error on server ixcite
: RPC: Program/version mismatch; low version =1, hgh version =1
This only seems to happen when the network is busy. On light days,
like the weekends I don't see the error. Whats strange is that everything
seems to be normal with X even when the error occurs.. All my windows
start up correctly, etc.
Does anybody know what this message is trying to tell me? And what are
the high and low versions thats its talking about? High and low
versions of *what*?
