 I'm currently working on this very widget. It's going to be a stripped down
 version though (ie, horizontal only, no range, no min/max box, etc.). However,
 once I get the overall slider working, it'd be trivial to add those attributes
 back in.

 Rumor has it that this widget will be possibly be included in the next release
 of Xview (rumored to happen this summer... August?) Unfortunately, my clients 
 here at Protocol can't wait that long.
