For some years, I have been getting some of the consumer electronics dealers' magazines which cover stereo, video, and similar types of products (magazines like Audio-Video International, Consumer Electronics, Sight & Sound Marketing, Audio Times, etc.). None of these give any coverage to ham gear or direct any of their editorial material to dealers in the ham or commercial radio field. Can anyone point me to the existence of dealer-oriented magazines directed toward the dealer in amateur radio equipment? On a related note, can anyone point me toward wholesale distributors of ham gear? I have had dealings with and receive catalogs from a number of distributors who will supply a small business with inventory in small quantities, such as one at a time, usually with an 800 number to call and shipping UPS COD. None of these handle ham gear; the nearest they come to it is scanners and CB radios. Does anyone know of any distributors who operate in this manner and handle amateur equipment? I am particularily looking for such a source for ICOM gear. Thanks much, Will Martin
