I've been trying in vain lately to build various X based programs on my
new IPC (SunOS 4.1.1, OW2.0).
It has become clear that in addition to requiring the Xmu and Xaw
libraries, life would be much simpler if I had a working imake and
makedepend, etc. Unfortunately, I can't make sense of how to configure
these for my system. I've pulled the util and lib/Xaw and lib/Xmu
directories out of the MIT X11R5 distribution, but would like to make
them work with the OW server and Sun supplied libs and includes.
Surely this has been done before - can someone send me (or point me
towards and FTP archive, or post - I imagine this is of general
interest) instructions on how to configure my system thusly? What
programs do I need (in addition to imake, mkmf abd makedepend) - what
include files and libs are missing (in addition to libXaw and libXmu)?
What do I need to change in the site.def or project files for imake? You
get the picture.
