I independently tried the almost the same FlatCheckBox widget code as kkirksey@eng.auburn.edu except that I did use XtArgVal rather than String (as suggested by merlyn@attunix.att.com) and it crashed in exactly the same place. On our machine (a Sun SPARC server server 470) we have some example programs which appear to have come with the OLIT code and the example FlatCheckBox/FlatExculsives code there also crashes in exactly the same place. I believe merlyn@attunix.att.com when he says that it all works on OpenWindows 2.5 but I have OpenWindows 2.0 and understand that OpenWindows 2.5 will not be available in France until at least October. Does anybody have any suggestions on what I can do to make the FlatCheckBox's work in the meantime? Is it possible to obtain the OPEN LOOK 4.0 toolkit now and will it be the same as the OpenWindows 2.5 OLIT toolkit? Stuart Pook Genethon--AFM
