I would like to use Flat Checkboxes and Flat NonExclusives in my OLIT application (on a Sun Sparc Server 470 running SunOS 4.1) but I only have OLIT 2.0 and so they core dump. (I cannot think of any other way to conserve the memory on my user's X-terminals.) As I understand things the OL toolkit release history runs a bit like this (in order of release): OLIT 2.0 from Sun (I have this) OPEN LOOK 4.0 from USL (I could buy this for $US1000) OLIT 2.5 from Sun (Where can I get this?) OLIT 3.0 from Sun (ditto) OLIT 2.5 is not going to be available in France until October and the above mentioned bug is in OLIT 2.5 (according to Ken Kirksey's message of 29 May 1991) and thus, I imagine, in OPEN LOOK 4.0 so I have to go to OLIT 3.0 (see John Bradstreet's message of 31 May 1991) in order to be able to use Flat Checkboxes. Is this right? And now the biggy: where can I get OLIT 3.0? I suppose the alternative is to buy OPEN LOOK 4.0 and if it does not work on my sparc then try to debug it. Has anybody tried OPEN LOOK 4.0 on a sparc server and do Flat anything work? Thanks in advance Stuart Pook (stuart@genethon.fr)
