What I have found is that if the bitmap definition is much bigger than the default size of the "tools" icon which is used for most applications, OLWM freezes. There are no bug fixes to this that I am aware of. This is true for the OLVWM as well. THIS SHOULD BE FIXED. I had been contacted by a Sun representive who requested that I show him the problem but the message was lost. I have several examples of bitmaps which cause OLWM to freeze. I will gladly help show the problem and send these files. jc PS. This should have been sent to the comp.windows.open-look group and that is where followups are sent to. -- -- James Cameron (jc@raven.bu.edu) Signal Processing and Interpretation Lab.
