When displaying a message to the user, error or otherwise, in a notice box immediately after the user has completed the input to the text field with a return character, the notice box somehow gets the return as well (sometimes). Giving a return to notice box means take the default action which is in most case to clear the notice box and continue. Therfore the user never gets to see the contents of the notice box because it disppears too fast. I am using XView and the guide. Is there a solution for this problem?
