I have read about OLIT 2.5 on this news group. Some have said that they got it from Sun as part of OpenWindows 2.5. I just get e-mail from our sales rep., and she tells me that there is no version of OpenWindows 2.5. Could someone out there tell me what the situation is? Talk to your Sun sales rep again. OLIT 2.5 is the widget set only. If you're on the appropriate level of support, OLIT 2.5 should be free to you, as an upgrade of the normal OLIT, which you got with OpenWindows 2. There is (from what I hear) no such thing as OpenWindows 2.5. OLIT 2.5 does NOT include the X Server, mailtool and similar stuff. OpenWindows 3 will include OLIT 3.0, I believe. That will give you new versions of the X Server, etc., plus the OLIT widget set. From what I hear, the widget set changes from OLIT 2.5 to 3.0 will be few. Hope this helps. OLIT 2.5 is available now.
