Andy> i have my emacs.BodyFont set to a font that doesn't seem to have Andy> any effect on the actual font that is used when i start emacs.h Andy> as anyone else had this problem? Yup, I also have that problem. I solve by putting the following at the end of my .emacs file: (if (eq window-system 'x) (progn (x-set-font "9x15") (if (x-color-p) (progn (x-set-foreground-color "green") (x-set-background-color "navy") (x-set-mouse-color "yellow") (x-set-cursor-color "cyan"))))) N.B.: It seems to be important that this be at the enc in order that the window size be correct after changing the font size. -Mike =============================================================================== Michael E.
