Having finally upgraded my Novice, I've been looking at HTs. The best two look to be the TR-2500 and the latest Santec (I forget the model number). Nobody around here uses the Santec - does anybody out there in netland? Why don't people buy from Santec? Please respond - the Santec looks to me like the better HT, but I don't want to get stuck with a radio that can't get repaired, or something. Thanx and 73s, David Kaufman, KA1AGE (Interim New York)
