I'm running emacs under SunOS 4.1, and using tvtwm as my X window manager. I usually have 3-4 emacs windows open, and all of them are titled "emacs@tazdevil.llnl.gov" What I'd like to know is how to set the title of the emacs window. Is there a variable for it? (I didn't see it in the list of variables I got with a C-h v ?) Randy Spangler rspangle@tazdevil.llnl.gov

No sed required, either. Better yet, get Epoch. -- -------------------------------------------------------------------- himacdonald@watmsg.uwaterloo.ca watmath!watmsg!himacdonald
