qst de ad7i red bank, new jersey, u.s.a. hr arrl bulletin nr 18 from arrl headquarters newington ct march 9, 1983 to all radio amateurs bt a new world dx record on 220 mhz was set at 0000z today when kp4eor contacted lu7djz, a distance of 3670 miles. this is approximately 1000 miles farther than the previous record. the contact was made via transequatorial propagation, with kp4eor using both cw and ssb while lu7djz used cw only. complete details will be in may qst ar
