[gnu.g++.help] g++ translator version

amante%asgard@HUB.UCSB.EDU (02/27/91)

I know that the g++ generates machine code directly as its
output. However, I'm interested in a translator version of
g++ that outputs C code (instead of native machine code).
I remember seeing email, (possibly a year ago) regarding
attempts to come up with such a translator based on g++.
Have those attempts been successful or not? If there is such
a g++ translator, I would appreciate getting info on how to
obtain it. Thanks ...
