[gnu.g++.help] Use of help-g++

rms@AI.MIT.EDU (Richard Stallman) (01/29/91)

If you don't approve the aims of the GNU project, there is a mailing
list/newsgroup that is appropriate for discussing your opinions:
gnu-misc-discuss@prep, aka gnu.misc.discuss.  Please don't use
help-g++ for this purpose.

I would only like to say that I think that the message recently
posted is based on a misunderstanding of what the issue is about.
I may post a longer reply to gnu.misc.discuss.

help-g++ is for carrying out the GNU project.
There are people in the world who don't support the GNU project;
probably quite a few of them. Would they please go elsewhere, and
stop getting in the way of the people who would like to carry it out?

Please take this to gnu.misc.discuss where most of us can ignore it.

Thanks.
