qst de ad7i holmdel, new jersey, u.s.a. hr arrl bulletin nr 39 from arrl headquarters newington ct may 27, 1983 to all radio amateurs bt the european space agency has announced that the launch of amsat phase 3b is now scheduled for june 16 from esa launch site in kourou, french guiana. the launch window is 1200z to 1345z. w1aw will transmit the amsat launch information network service on all bulletin frequencies beginning about 1130z on june 16. the live coverage of the countdown and launch will continue until phase 3b achieves initial orbit. regular morse code practice sessions and bulletins will be suspended for the duration of the alins coverage. several other stations throughout the world will provide alins and will be found operating near 14270 to 14300 khz. monitor w1aw for latest information and news of any further schedule changes ar
