Official AMSAT Bulletin #002 DTG 2 Jun 83 1830 UTC FT 2 Jun 83 1842 UTC RLSD WA2LQQ TO: QST FM: AMSAT HQ Per W4PUJ at Kourou. P3B S/C is complete. All preparations have been successfully accomplished and the S/C is in excellent health. The S/C has been mounted in the Sylda and AMSAT can no longer touch P3B. The Sylda gets "put together tomorrow" according to W4PUJ. It will be rolled out to the pad on Monday. In sum, AMSAT's job is complete. Lots of picture taking is going on says W4PUJ. "The spacecraft is beautiful," sys Dick, W4PUJ. The launch is scheduled for 16 June according to W4PUJ. This conforms to AMSAT HQ assessment made from various sources including NASA and CNES.
