Official AMSAT P3B Bulletin #004 0530 UTC 05 June 83 TO:QST FM:AMSAT HQ RLSD:K1HTV The AMSAT Phase III-B launch support team from the U.S.A. , Dick Daniels, W4PUJ and Jan King, W3GEY arrived home safely from Kourou, French Guiana saturday afternoon. Gordon Hardman, ZS1FE left the site Thursday for his South African QTH while part of the German-DL crew including Karl Meinzer,DJ4ZC, Werner Haas,DJ5KQ and Wolfgang Mueller (no call) of MBB will leave for Germany on monday, June the 6th. Staying with the spacecraft at the launch site will be Ulrich Mueller,DK4VW and Connie Mueller (no call). They will be joined later by another AMSAT-DL crew member Wolfgang Schaefer, who first will pass through the Washington area on his way to Kourou. The AMSAT Phase III-B spacecraft , now enclosed in the Sylda, and the European Communications Satellite, ECS-1 will be mated to the Ariane launcher monday June 6th. On that day ESA should make the decision if the earlier announced June 16 launch is a viable one.
