amsats phase 3b satellite is now fully prepared for launch.  the
launch is scheduled for thursday, june 16, with the launch window
from 1159 to 1328 utc.	the amsat launch information network will
transmit live reports of the launch, with many stations around the
world relaying the audio originating at the amsat command facility in
maryland.  in addition to w1aw on its regular voice frequencies,
other stations will be on 3780, 3850, 7080, 7170, 7180, 7182, 14250,
14260, 14265, 14280, 21265, 21280 and 21285 khz.  launch net
operations will begin about 1130 utc.

spacecraft testing will begin shortly after launch.  the mode b
beacon will be on 145.810 mhz with 5 minutes of cw and 25 minutes of
psk telemetry each half hour.  the new oscar should be available for
general use between 3 and 6 weeks after launch.  check the amsat nets
