The AMSAT-OSCAR-10 General Beacon was commanded to transmit continuosly today. The command apparently was made on orbit 12 and its effects were heard for the first time in the Wash., DC area shortly after the 22:10 UTC AOS of the 145.810 MHz beacon. Instead of going silent at 22:20 UTC the GB continued to send mostly PSK telemetry and CW telemetry / satellite status report bulletins (0-5 & 30-35 min past hour). A-O-X , for the next couple of hours was in simultaneous view of all of Africa, most of South America and Europe as well as the eastern part of the North America.
