I would much rather eat a McDonalds. And when eating there I would prefer the Big Mac. I guess I have just no taste for the Whopper.

Not in net.general or net.followup, please. I dont even really want to read a hamburger survey in misc, but I guess that is, after all, the place of last resort. Michael Wagner, UTCS

Phooey on your Whopper's. It seems that no hamburger chain can afford real meat in their burgers so I judge burgers by there "surprise factor": that is how likely I am to find something suprising in the meat. It's like golf, a low score is best, and McDonald's has a very low suprise factor. But of course, Whoppers, Big Macs and Quarter Pounders aside, we all know that Harvey's burgers are the undisputed winner in the hamburger chain wars.

I am ashamed of you, Randy. Harvey's is finer than those other chains, but as a good ex-Vancouverite you should know that nothing compares to the White Spot. Rick.

Right you are Randy, Harvey's makes by far the best hamburger in town (down with White Spot, Rick). However, we fortunate Canadians should point out to our southern neighbours that Harvey's is a Canadian chain. They bear no relation to the chain of the same name found in some states. Special note to Harvey's fans: the first Harvey's in western Canada has opened in Vancouver (on Davie Street).

Go to it Rick! The only merit to the White Spot Greaseburger was that they were served to you in your car, enabling you to make it to the Van Gen emergency ward stomach pump unit in a little shorter time. Patrick ("Migod! Why don't they call this the McNetwork?") Powell
