this month we will try to go over the care and feeding
of pathalias! and freinds.
showing off the one liners and awarding prizes.
and Q&A open forum.

Anyone can enter!!!
there are no fees dues or ???
to be a UUASC member you need only show up at meetings and be interested
in UNIX in all its different flavors (we think Xenix is Unix too)

RULES (ha ha ha)
your one liner MUST be entered on the command line from a prompt.
your one liner may be a bourne shell script, a C shell script, or an awk
script. ( I don't have a way of testing pearl or korn-shells :-( ).
ENTRIES
entries may be submitted by hand ( at a meeting ) or by email :-) (send email
to contest@pride386.UUCP or {uunet!|zardoz!}pride386!contest ) or by fax.

Please include a short description of what it does.
EXAMPLE

this prints only the directorys in the current directory

DEADLINE
the deadline is May 6 ( steering committee meeting)
PRIZES
to be announced as I can get them (anyone want to donate a Cray ;-))
will be awarded at the may meeting ( May 13th )
and yes you must be there to win!(especialy if someone donates a Cray ).
there will be some prizes for those who can not attend. so please
include your USMAIL address.
