Is there any way, given the numbers that the protocol appends to a port name under netstat, to trace back and determine the names of the processes that are communicating? Or, in general, given the port number, can one tell which two processes are in communication? They may or may not be on the same machine. Please reply via e-mail ---- Glenn Stowe glenn8@odie.cs.mun.ca
