[comp.unix.programmer] Is anyone using sdb++ ?!?

kornegay@oiscola.Columbia.NCR.COM (Michael L. Kornegay) (06/01/91)

The subject states the question. I am particularly interested in how
people have got around the problem with #line directives with the under-
lying C compiler (remember the warning in the release notes).

For those who do not know, this is a version of sdb that supports (sort
of) C++ debugging. Unfortunatly, you CANNOT RELIABLY step C++ source
code (only stepping C code seems reliable when using the standard C
compiler from the SCDE).

If anyone has alternative C++ debugging environment suggestions for
SVR4 UNIX Systems running on Intel 80x86 processors, please let me know
(dont tell me about gnu tools, or the neat stuff you have on your Sun
and HP systems).

Thanks for any assistance,
