in a surprise move, doc revoked section 33 of the general radio
regulations, part 2, eliminating the need for most canadian amateurs
to keep a log.	the doc will also give the holder of an amateur
certificate temporary advanced amateur privileges for one year if he
lives in a place remote from a doc examination center.

representatives of crrl and carf met to work out a final revision of
trc 24.

the crrl saskatchewan qsl bureau has a new manager, ve5ae.

amateur participation in the 1983 world scout jamboree near calgary
