[comp.unix.shell] NFS file locking

Howdy,

One of my friends told me that you all had discussed NFS
file locking to guarantee exclusive access to a file. Can someone
send me a summary of this discussion or at least provide some
hints on how to do NFS file locking?

Thanks,
Jose' Duarte
