i previously posted an article but somehow the body of the text never made it. so here goes again. i am posting this for someone else who has obtained source for the ksh on sunOS 4.0.3. they are interested in using it but they are having trouble finding good documentation and/or literature. if someone could point me to an ftp site, a book title or something else for this general purpose, i would appreciate it. thx

Bolsky and David G. Korn. It has been published by Prentice-Hall. ISBN 0-13-516972-0. Since a previous discussion on the net said that the full version of ksh isn't available as source, the book possibly describes not the `right' version. -- ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- | Markus Witt, Hamburg (Germany) | | Internet: markus@mwhh.hanse.de | | UUCP: ...!uunet!mcsun!unido!mcshh!mwhh!markus |

It describes the 88(d/e?) shell which is about as 'right' as you can get. It shows the differences between the 88 and 86 versions.
