The "Low Band Skip" column in the October 1983 issue of the Radio Communications Monitoring Association (RCMA) Newsletter mentions 3 Central American repeaters which use the following frequencies during daylight business hours: o+ 33.475 MHz o+ 33.675 o+ 33.875 All transmissions are in Spanish. The 33.675 frequency is apparently a timber logging operation in Nicaragua. With a poor antenna at 15 feet, I can hear the activity on 33.675 and 33.875, but haven't detected anything on 33.475. Can anyone else hear these stations? -- ============================================================================ Robert S. Parnass, AT&T Bell Laboratories, ihnp4!ihuxf!parnass (312)979-5760
