We have a set up wherein we are using a Sun 4/110 with an accelerator (CSPI's Super Card-1) attached to a VME slot. I would like to know if there are any accelerator cards, available (say, based on i860 along with software tools and libraries) that can be used with SPARCstation1 or 1+ series(S Bus). I have heard about Sun's VX accelerator's, but I would like to know if it is for enhancing graphics performance or can also be used for other general purpose development.
