[comp.unix.internals] NL -> CR NL through sockets

zik@convex.cl.msu.edu (Edward Symanzik) (12/12/90)

We're writing a socket front end for 'lpc'. When we call the port
from a PC, there are no carriage returns so the output is garbled.

Is there a ioctl-like call for sockets to map NL to CR NL, or do we
need to write a filter?
