qst de ad7i hr propagation forecast bulletin nr 45 from arrl headquarters newington ct november 7, 1983 to all radio amateurs bt active areas of the sun that were responsible for the solar flux rise in early october are facing the earth again. sunspot counts are far below those of four weeks ago, and the solar flux high for november is only 107 thus far. at the same sun position in october the flux was 134 and rising. some further rise is expected in the next few days, but anything approaching the october high of 140 now seems unlikely. november is traditionally a month of high muf and generally good conditions on all dx frequencies, however, and prospects look good for november 6 through 9, 16, 17, and 22 to 24. fairly severe disturbances and possible auroral conditions in northern u.s. and adjacent canadian areas are expected november 10 through 15, 18 to 21 and 25 to 30. american sunspot numbers for october 27 through november 2 were between 1 and 20 with a mean of 11.4 ar
