qst de ad7i hr arrl bulletin nr 116 from arrl headquarters newington ct november 26, 1983 to all radio amateurs bt radio amateurs throughout the world mourn the sudden passing, on november 25, of our beloved arrl president, victor c. clark, w4kfc, after a massive heart attack. vic had served as arrl president since 1982, and had brought to the post the personal qualities which made him one of the most respected and best known members of the worldwide amateur radio fraternity. vic clarks passing brings a great personal loss for those who knew him and leaves a void in the arrl organization which he had served for five decades in a variety of volunteer roles. a memorial service is scheduled for 2 pm. wednesday, november 30, at the christ church of washington, 3855 massachusetts ave, washington, dc. the family requests that no flowers be sent, but that memorial contributions in lieu of flowers be made to the arrl foundation, the purpose of the memorial fund to be designated later. arrl first vice president, carl l. smith, w0bwj, assumes the office of president for the remainder of the term. to repeat, arrl president, victor c. clark, w4kfc, died suddenly on november 25 ar
