Due to {high probability this is a bug} the system I run on the Unisys (CTIX SVR3) sometimes (lots of times) locks ttyp's, generally when the current connection is stopped unnormaly (but also when normal). As a result, the used tty gets blocked for use. By blocked I mean I can't rlogin there anymore (the rlogin starts but does not continue to the shell as it should). If I telnet to a such buggy ttyp, either I get blocked on /etc/issue or the connection gets closed immediately after the message. The only solution I found yet is restarting the system, but as I'm not local doing so a few times every day is not really fine... Is there any standard Unix function, or whatever users may have written to do the job and allow me to reuse the ttyp? -- Christophe Wolfhugel | Email: wolf@grasp1.univ-lyon1.fr INSA - Dpt Informatique | "Le progres ne vaut que s'il est partage par tous," Lyon, France | "les greves aussi.
