[comp.unix.xenix.sco] SCO Xenix terminfo bug

phil@lgnp1.LS.COM (Phil Eschallier) (09/05/90)

some time back there was a discussion about curses applications w/ terminfo
under sco xenix -- there is a bug that consists of curses blocking certain
characters when you use the keypad() function (specifically the 'd' and 'P'
keys return 0 if pressed after setting keypad( win, 1 )).

i believe the resolution was that there was a bug in the nap() function but
i can't remember for sure. i also can't remember if there was a nap() re-
placement function posted to the net.

if anyone can help jog my memory and/or point me to a fix, i'd appreciate it.
the system is sco xenix 2.3.2 for the 80286 (which has the 2.2 dev sys as there
is no 2.3 version for the '286).

please e-mail any responses.

thanx in advance!!
