Hi there I have a problem using the Exabyte EXB-8200 with XENIX. I am trying to access this device with a WD-7000 controller. "cpio" works fine but "tar" does not. with "dd" i got problems to read a tape with 16KB datablocks. The errormessage is: dd write error : bad address Acessing the device with a AH154x results always in and error message including the read command sent to the device and the scsi status. Can anybody tell me what my problem is? Has anyone setup the connection completely ? Thanks in advance. Wilfried wm@artcomw.artcom.north.de
