Help, This is pretty lenghtly so please bare with me. I had a 2 node tcp/ip lan running on thin wire using 3Com 3c053 cards running between 1 386/20 running SCO XENIX and 1 486/25 running SCO UNIX 3.2 in both cases I am using SCO TCP/IP. Lets call there nodes A and B. A <---------> B address -------- A = 132.147.160.5 B = 132.147.160.10 All communication between A and B works great (ftp, telnet, rcmd, rlogin). Then I added node C another 386/25 running SCO XENIX with same 3Com and same TCP/IP. Like so. A <---------> B <--------> C addresses --------- A = 132.147.160.5 B = 132.147.160.10 C = 132.147.160.7 Now here comes the part that stumps me. Systems A and B still work fine as described above but System C cannot telnet, ftp to machine B. It just says trying.... and the eventually times out. But System C can telnet,ftp,ping.... to System A. Also System A and B can telnet, ftp, ping to C. Does anyone have any ideas. I could really use some. Please e-mail all responses. Thanks, Bryan -- Bryan M.
