First, vielen Danke Schoen! to Uwe Doering for FAS for Xenix. He even spelled his own product without the 'y' on the end. How refreshing! For those having difficulty installing FAS on Xenix, I found that the '/usr/sys/conf/configure' utility must be run and any parameter changed within it to update the dependent files; then, FAS links just fine. Before doing this, I couldn't get rid of SCO's brain-dead serial driver--I even removed the 'sio' line completely from 'master' and it still linked in. That's when the light bulb popped on over my head. Allowing ./configure to do its job made the process flow smoothly. -- John Boteler bote@csense.uucp {uunet | ka3ovk}!media!csense!bote SkinnyDipper's Hotline: 703-241-BARE | VOICE only, Touch-Tone(TM) signalling
