[comp.unix.xenix.sco] the tape

klarich@d.cs.okstate.edu (KLARICH TERRY JAME) (09/25/90)

I am using the tape (C) command. If anyone knows what the -c, -f, -s and
-a switches do, I would like to hear from you. I have looked in the
manuals as well as in the release notesbut to no avail. I am using xenix
2.3.2 and the tape command is 3.1.

You should have tried it:
tape -c tape says its usage for cartridge tapes (QIC-02)
tape -s tape shows its usage with scsi tapes
tape -f is for floppy (mini) tapes
