I believe that ftp Software does (did?) sell TCP/IP for XENIX 286 (not 386). I know that KA9Q works on a Tandy 6000 under XENIX 3.2 so it might also work on a 286 under XENIX, but I have not tried that. -- Mike Squires (mikes@iuax.cs.indiana.edu) Phn: 812 855 3974 (w) 812 333 6564 (h) mikes@iuvax.cs.indiana.edu 546 N Park Ridge Rd., Bloomington, IN 47408

Excelan (now a division of Novell) sells LAN Workplace for XENIX 286. I have the version for XENIX 386 and it works very well TCP-wise. It is only half functional NETBIOS-wise. In any case, it comes with the usual telnet, FTP, an SMTP mailer, ud, rsh, rexec, rlogin, rwho and ruptime. I am very pleased with the performance and functionality of these services. -- Chris Hapgood <@Virginia.EDU,@smarine.uucp:cch0241@medusa> 2111 Michie Drive #100 ...!uucp!virginia!smarine!medusa!cch0241 Charlottesville, VA 22901 H:(804) 977-8345 W:(804) 974-2584

Racal-Interlan sell a version of TCP/IP for SCO Xenix 286. Unfortunatley though, it only works with their NP600A intelligent ethernet card. Exelan makes exos for xenix/286. I ran it for several years. -- bill davidsen - davidsen@sixhub.uucp (uunet!crdgw1!sixhub!davidsen) sysop *IX BBS and Public Access UNIX moderator of comp.binaries.ibm.pc and 80386 mailing list "Stupidity, like virtue, is its own reward" -me
