I'm running Xenix 386 2.3.2 and I've run into something that I could use some help with. When using terminfo curses I can't get the "acsc=" string. ... char *buf; buf = tigetstr("acsc"); ... In the above call, tigetstr() ALWAYS returns (char *)NULL. The same call on our Pyramid RETURNS the "acsc=" string. It seems as though in Xenix tigetstr() CAN'T or WON'T GET the "acsc=" string. tigetstr() will return other strings fine (i.e. sgr=). It's not the terminfo entry as that works fine on Non-Xenix systems. Can anyone explain why this is happening? Xenix tic is Sys V.2, not Sys V.3. I had the same problem, but solved it by loading SCO *UNIX* V.3.2's tic program onto XENIX! -- --------------------- He who laughs last laughs last --------------------- Hendrik Vermooten, ZEUS software TEL +27 12 64-5507, FAX +27 12 64-8382 Bang: ..!uunet!ddsw1!olsa99!zeusa!hendrik or hendrik@zeusa.UUCP ----------------- He whose laugh lasts longest laughs last ---------------
