My mother joined them for a while, and I have a friend who is currently active. They are basically a mystical literature society, concerned with cosmic conciousness-raising, and self-improvement through understanding their principles and by doing certain psychological exercises. They will send free info, but I believe you must pay to get at the heart of their material. Execises for the beginner include staring at yourself in a mirror by candlelight until you start to look funny. They have some sort of secrecy requirements, which stop my friend from disclosing any more of their practices to me. All in all, not recommended to any save theologians and the extremely gullible.
