mebly@eng.umd.edu (Mark E. Bailey) (11/21/90)

Subject line says it all. Prefer anonymous ftp with an internet address
(those funny numbers).

Please advise via e-mail. Thanks in advance.

X Here's how to get the new version if you want to try it out:
X
X 1. mkdir kermit
X 2. cd kermit
X 3. ftp watsun.cc.columbia.edu [128.59.39.2].
X 4. login as user anonymous (lowercase), any password will do.
X 5. cd kermit/sw
X 6. turn prompting off, then mget ck[cuw]*.* (normal text mode)
X 7. bye to ftp
X 8. mv ckuker.mak makefile
X 9. make xxx
X
X where xxx is the desired version -- see the comments at the top of the
X makefile. For further installation hints, read ckuins.doc. The user manual
X is in ckuker.doc (plain text) or ckuker.ps (postscript). The man page, such
X as it is, is in ckuker.nr. A detailed edit history is in ckuker.upd.
