[comp.unix.xenix.sco] SCO VP/IX rel 1.2

tfiore@well.sf.ca.us (Tony Fiorentino) (12/15/90)

what is the advantage of using xenix with the VP/IX
with resultant capacity to run MS-DOS programs; as
opposed to using straight windows 3.0 and keeping
another machine for xenix use only? In other words
what capability do I lose by running all my favorite
DOS programs over unix? What is the cost of SCO VP/IX
rel 1.2? I make 75% use of DOS in my work; and have
found windows 3.0 on an AT-386 quite satifactory.
