And now... the moment you've all been waiting for... the results of the burger wars! Here they are: Big Mac 22 votes. Whopper 25 votes. The Mac took an early lead; but starting a few days ago, the Whopper caught up and passed it. Some people cast their votes for write in candidates: Neither 5 votes. Wendy's 3 votes. Harvey's 1 vote. Many people also sent along interesting comments, here are a few: "I try to avoid both of them..." "I only eat mcworthless when there is no other choice." "Big Macs are more consistent in quality... a whopper on 33 st in Manhattan is wretched." "I think they are BOTH obnoxious. Too much grease and sugar." "Whoppers taste more like real food than big macs." "They both suck." "I eat Big Macs whenever I get the chance, which is frequently. I find the new Burger King ads to be so offensive that I have completely stopped eating there." "I think that its like comparing apples and oranges." "If given the choice of either... I usually choose to skip a meal." "i [sic] prefer the whopper only because of the fresh lettuce on it." Well, that's the results, so let's put this baby to rest. As some cartoonest noted a while back, the whole case will probably end up in the Burger court.
