[comp.unix.xenix.sco] Wyse 995

Having problems with a Wyse 995 communications board. The
handshaking may be at fault. When sending to Panasonic Laser,
am getting 'Data Overflow'. Also, sending to Okidata printer
from applications program (Mas90) shows printer goes off line -
first instance data is lost, second instance, no data lost and
printer resumes upon retry.

Any suggestions? Using Xenix gettydefs m (9600) - should
IXANY be changed?
(Thanks)

Michael:
One of the problems with the Wyse 995 is that it only supports
XON/XOFF protocol under SCO Xenix..

You may want to check the printers to make sure they are setup for
XON/XOFF and not DTR or CTS hardward handshaking. We have had problems
with this in the past.

You also would normally not be using normal terminal configurations
for a printer since it will not have a login.
