I have two systems 1. Xenix 2.2.1 and 2. Unix v/386 3.2v2 connected via direct wire. Each evening a compressed backup gets uucp'd from sys 2 -> sys 1. The file makes it ok, but I get uucp error's as follows: amb hasi (1/28-7:08) BAD READ (expected 'H' got FAIL) amb hasi (1/28-7:08) FAILED (conversation complete) Again, the file is ok, just annoying errors. BTW, the odd thing is that when I run this interactively (ie non-cronjob) there are *NO* errors. This is a direct wire running at 9600, only the Unix line is enabled. It looks like EOF is ignored for some reason when running from cron??
