I have a friend who cannot get SCO Xenix or Unix to install on an IBM model 95. The cause of the failure is that the IBM SCSI disk controller is locked to recognize the single drive as ID=6. SCO on the other hand seems to require the ID of this 1st drive to be ID=0. Does anyone have any experience resolving such a problem. It seems SCO has no work-a-round at this time. Nor does IBM allow any change of the SCSI drives ID number from "6". E-mail any valid suggestions to the following; !rex!fleet!mel Thanks for any assistance you can provide. Mel Shear New Orleans, LA.
