(Apologies if syntax odd, posting for a friend about a system I know nothing about!) doscp seems to run OK copying files from the DOS partition to the Xenix partition, but runs very slowly copying from the Xenix partition to the DOS partition (over 5 minutes for 10K). If it's any consolation, I have had the same problem. I think the DOS partition is sort of a raw device, and when you write a DOS file it has to read a very large portion of the partition. Perpaps someone else can help us both out with a solution, or maybe it will be fixed in a future version :=( Good luck. Dave Smith
