All's I want MMDF to do is, when it gets mail for me, send it to another account on another machine. Sounds simple, eh ? I tried the usual .forward file and got nowhere. The MMDF administrators guide offerred no clues other than aliases (which are very seamy at the least). Anyone know any better ? dcd % Dixon Chan Dick (dixon@twisto.compaq.com) Compaq Computer Corp. % % % % "All dumb opinions expressed here are mine and not Compaq's etc. etc." %

KEYWORDS: .maildelivery mmdf unix resend forwarding RELEASE: SCO UNIX System V/386 Operating System Generic PROBLEM: How do you set up MMDF to forward mail delivered to one account to be sent to another account? SOLUTION: Suppose we have two user accounts, `pebbles' and `bambam'. Further suppose we want mail that is sent to `pebbles' to be forwarded to `bambam'. To implement this, create a file in `pebbles' home directory called `.maildelivery' containing the following line: To pebbles | A /usr/bin/resend bambam Mail sent to pebbles will now be forwarded to bambam. ################## cut here ################ cut here ################## I hope this helps you with your problem. - Paul Zola Software Support Engineer paulz@sco.COM Gotta tend the earth if you want a rose. - Emily Saliers DISCLAIMER: I speak for myself, and not for SCO.
