When I had a dos3.3 partition co-existing with my xenix partition I could type dos at the xenix boot: prompt to boot dos. This does not work for a dos4.01 partions (> 32Mb). I do not want to create a standard FAT16 partition just to boot from. So has anyone patched the /boot in xenix to recognize a DOS 4.01 >32Mb partition. Is it just a matter of recognizing the PartitionID for >32Mb. It seems that this would be the case, as boot only needs to load the boot record from that partition. not access the fat, dir etc..
